Original Post hereMore canon info released. Well, translations of the Gundam file number 6. You can read the original post there. I'm just going to quote/rave about the things that really interest me.
Four Gundams will be introduced in the second season. The Gundams will make use of the Meisters' special qualities, like a software upgrade. It seems it'll be unpleasant to use. WHAT THE CRAP DOES THAT MEAN? The Meisters' special qualities? Unpleasant to use? So the Gundams are going to sap the life force of the Meisters now...? This is getting kind of bizarre.
That masked man appearing at the end [of S1] should be called "Face Man". It had been decided from the beginning that he would wear that "face". He wears it due to a certain "change". Mizushima thinks people will laugh at his transformation into a strong character.
'"What the hell is this stupid director doing?', they'll say (laughs)"I don't think this warrants any comment.
- There's a reasoning behind the selection criteria for Meisters. Setsuna has a very particular reason.Yea, because he's the hero. And it's his fault Fucking Ribbons is trying to take over the world now.
- Tieria's secret will be revealed in S2; Lockon might have known it by intuition. All Lockon seemed to hint at was that Tieria isn't human. But I think we (fanbase) all already figured that out. So I'm guessing Mr Director is playing it stupid and pretending we don't know about that yet. So his secret will be that he's an android computer thing. But then we see this:
- Lockon was convinced that there were no differences with Tieria's body. That episode might have set the line for S2. and
- The truth about Ribbons' body is in S2. Same with the Innovator. So Tieria's body = human? Then what's the big secret about Ribbons' body? MAYBE THEY AREN'T THE SAME THING. WTF IS GOING ON I'M GETTING ANNOYED NOW. Just give us some fricking answers instead of saying everything is a secret!!!!!
Case in point:
- Whether Hallelujah is dead or not is a secret (laughs)I'm voting NO HE IS NOT DEAD. I have had a lot of speculation on it lately, and this sort of confirmed it for me. The director repeatedly said that Lockon was dead and made it very clear he wasn't coming back, but for Hallelujah, who also "died" on screen, he's staying ambiguous. Of course, he could just be being a total ass and messing with us, because he knows H/Al fans are all mentally unstable anyway and therefore fun to tease, but I doubt it.
.... In my logic, if you repeatedly say something is definitively true or not true, then you're being honest. If you repeatedly say something ambiguously, it's likely a lie and you're just wrecking havoc (like Tieria possibly being a girl). If you say something once or twice ambiguously, you're being honest and not making a big deal (like Hallelujah possibly being alive). Shut up. It works. Halle is alive. I really don't think they'd feed us that "maybe" crap on a character death. Something like Tieria's gender, yea, because it's stupid and idiotic and whatever. But something serious, like someone dying, if they stay ambiguous, they're likely still alive.
Maybe when I'm not feeling lazy I'll post my "Why-he-isn't-dead" essay. Basically, it was necessary for character growth for him to disappear for a while, but he's too much a part of Allelujah to disappear forever without Allelujah (not just the persona, but the character as a whole) dying as well. Can't effectively destroy a part of you. They may mean by this that Hallelujah was just absorbed into Allelujah, and now Alle's a little batshit and nasty, but even then, Halle's still technically alive and I can deal with that.
But damn would I love some angsty Alle without Halle, then Halle slamming back in total chaos. <3
That just made my day. No, my entire week.
