Finally some more TDH. What happens here? Dietrich goes suicidal and Isaak just reacts the wrong way. As always. I figure the last few chapters have been Isaak-centric enough, so now Dietrich's back in the picture again. PG13 and very much a stand-alone chapter, rather like my Christmas one.

So much writing lately and none of it makes any sense.

A/N from FFN, as I am lazy.– I am only posting one chapter right now, seeing as I have gotten hopelessly behind and I want to post something. It occurred to me that this chapter really is best as a stand-alone one, anyhow. So just a short one now, and we’ll see what happens after this. I just know that the next two months or so are going to be fairly busy for me, so this fic probably won’t get nearly as many updates as I would like until I’m out of school for the semester. Or at least until I get my junior thesis in.

( Chapter 19 - Epiphany )

Oh look. More TDH. PG13 still. And some detailed explanations on how to steal books from high-security libraries. Actually, I seriously doubt it works. But if you wish to try and report back to me on it, go right ahead.

What happens in this section? Isaak seeks to find our the truth about his charge and ends up jealous of him, while Dietrich grows impatient with the speed of their relationship and takes matters into their own hands. So Di plays the whore again and Isaak is traumatized. Okay, so he really just tries to make out with Isaak because he's been spying on CainxIsaak action in the bedroom.

Noelle also makes an appearance. I find that she and Dietrich make an interesting contrast to one another. She's an empath. He seems to be almost an anempath. So she gets to babysit him while Isaak ransacks the Vatican Libraries.

TDH 13 and 14 finally out.

William enters into play here, throwing Isaak’s world into chaos temporarily. They run into one another on an airship to Rome, Di takes a liking to him, Isaak gets jealous, etc etc etc.... This is more WxI that IxD, and Dietrich really only does have a small part to play here.

A few quick things to point out: Yes, Isaak is guilty of the crimes mentioned here. He just doesn't see them as crimes. He's convinced he was saving William from having to marry someone he didn't want to (because he can't imagine William loving anyone other than he himself), so it wasn't really a murder. He's kind of crazy, if you haven't guessed yet. And he is still very immature at this point; he really acts like a bratty seventeen-year-old when it comes to William.

At any rate, the plot starts picking up here, as we are in part two and all the introduction stuff is done. Now all titles are nouns, not verbs, because I got sick of verbs. And this is totally thanks to Shunshou, who edited four chapters in a day for me.

Here's chapter 12! Very much a stand-alone.

It was the Christmas chapter, but I didn't get it out in time, and once Christmas came and went, I didn' t feel like finishing it. But now it's done, and next they go on spring vacation. Di's first time leaving the country, so a bit of chaos ensues, especially when they run into William. Things will start picking up around now, as the "family" has now been established.

It's rated PG. I think Cain always warrants at least a PG. Pretty straight-forward. Di's birthday is Christmas, and he demands to celebrate it. Isaak is uncomfortable about the religious implications, while Cain decides to let the boy join the Orden. But Dietrich has a surprise of his own for Isaak (which I realize sounds dirty, but it's not).

So finally finished the term papers. Have one shorter paper on Paradise Lost due Monday...finals Thursday and Friday. Then I'm done for a month. Anyway, I would have had this up yesterday but I got snowed in at the school. Meh. Thanks to everyone for wishing me luck on my papers, and for clicking on my links so I could get more downloads.

Anyway, once I actually get out of school, I have a few half-finished things I should be able to complete. Isaak booklist 3, my (fanonized) timeline, that damn Isaak x Caterina fic, an idiotic Radu-bashing Radu x Dietrich, and some half-formed ideas that have nothing written down yet. Now I have to catch up on my FList before I disappear again for another five days.

Rated R this time around. Cain x Isaak smex scene at the end (which I have as a stand-alone somewhere in my LJ actually) and some general Isaak x Dietrich awkwardness as their relationship gets...more in-depth? XD <-pervert. It's starting to get Di-zaak-ish.

By the way, I am in a half-assed hiatus until December 21st when the semester ends. Which means other than updating this (I already have more chapters written that just need minor editing), I probably will only have one or two fics up until then.

The Devil's Harlot Chapters 8 and 9... Don't have a whole lot to say at the moment. Term papers are running me over at the moment and I feel rather dead. XD Chapter 8 is mostly a collection of Isaak-as-father moments as he tries to deal with his paternal feelings and his increasing jealousy over Dietrich's abilities. Chapter 9 is the one where Cain finally makes his entrance. He gives Dietrich his name (part of which was a vignette I posted up here over the summer) and then drags Isaak out into the hall for some awkward/obscene behavior, beyond the eyes of their kid. So this part is more Cain x Isaak than anything, and is therefore PG15.

I'm almost done with part 1, which is exciting. It was originally 11 chapters, but I may add in another one....so there will probably be three more chapters before part 2. And in part 2, things start getting a lot more complicated. I'll actually start going more into Isaak's past at that point, though I am starting to hint at matters here, and their relationship deepens, and the RCO really begins getting underway. But that will all happen AFTER this semester ends.

Just another couple of chapters. I have to totally rewrite chapter 8, so I've just been putting off posting chapters 6 and 7 for a while, but here they are anyway. I know it's been a good two weeks. -_-

And a quick note. I would appreciate it if people who randomly friend me SAY something. Especially if they have a completely blank journal. Lately I've been getting quite a few people friending me without ever commenting. I just friended them back for a while, figuring they were just from FF.Net, but as I've gotten three anonymous-ers in less than a week now, I'm getting a little wary. Please speak up! I don't care if you never comment again. I just want to know who you are/how you got to my journal.

Anyway, what happens in these chapters? Not a whole lot. Dietrich gets adjusted to his new home, goes shopping with Isaak, gets sick, and pokes around his room. Isaak tries to come to terms with his paternal feelings towards the kid.

Trying to get this up all weekend but FF.Net has been being moronic. So finally, here are chapters 2 and 3. Sorry I've been dead lately. Midterms tomorrow and Tuesday and I figured that now that I have majors courses, I should study for once. (pssssshhhhhh yea right.) So that's my excuse anyway.

So.....summarizing these two chapters? Isaak is confronted by Dietrich, who promptly steals his wallet and threatens him with all sorts of nasty things. AHAHAHA! ROLE REVERSAL! And Isaak already begins to feel that he is being manipulated and dominated by a really demented seven-year-old. But yes, this early on, the fic is still predominantly innocent. So.....PG13 rating. 3500 words.

A side note before I throw the fic out there. I picked up Now and Forever After by The Last Dance (now I have all the CDs by them that are still in print) and the new Darren Hayes, This Delicate Thing We've Made. One is 13 songs, while the DH album is two CDs and 25 songs, so that's a lot of new music for someone who hasn't bought a CD in over a year. Still need to buy an iTunes card so I can get thge new Casey Stratton...

Why the hell don't EITHER of these artists include their lyrics!? Ugh.

I did find this website that has lyrics for a lot of the TLD songs. I did scan the booklets, silent_psy, but they came out as 6 MB pictures and I don't have a way to resize pictures on my comp (yea, wtf indeed), so I did some searching and found this instead.
