I went to post this, but when I went to livejournal.com, this scary thing appeared in the corner of an otherwise white window. I just used the link from my favorite places, so I didn't misspell it...I reloaded it three times before it finally went to the normal website. Now I'm freaked that either a) I'm going crazy b) my LJ account is messed or c) my computer has some scary-ass virus. UGH. If this has ever happened to you, please tell me? Anyway, here's what I was going to post... Here is a mildly long rant about Kaori Yuki's AS series, centering around the Heaven-Yetzirah Arc, and how it really does have the make of a true Epic (if only it were in a "respected" media). If you haven't read the series and plan on reading it, don't click. I have spoilers in here for the first two thirds of the series. But if you have read it, or don't plan to, or don't mind spoilers, go for it. I really didn't spoil too much. As you can see in the end, it disintegrates into a convoluted Trinity Blood raving...I left the last sentence uncut so you can see where it ended up. XD ( Critical Review of the Heaven-Yetzirah Arc )And now I want to turn the Isaak x Caterina fic I'm writing into some AU fic where he does get her pregnant. Just because. Zaphikel and Anael. This made sense when I wrote it, I swear.

I feel like I never have enough time. It's absurd, really, considering how much time I spend doing nothing. I only spend about 16 hours a week in class, and seeing as only one of my classes has homework other than reading and essays, I don't spend that much time doing schoolwork. I can hardly consider reading novels "homework", and reading 800 or so pages a week isn't a big deal at all for me. But I still feel like I have no TIME. I don't know where it's going. I suppose it all comes down to me sleeping too much again. I've been having trouble eating the last couple of weeks, so I really have no choice but to sleep more often to make up for that. I guess suddenly having an 8-hour day does put a damper on things, but it is frustrating. And I still keep getting bored. ( School and an odd thing about Goethe's Sorrows of Young Werther )Commission Fics I owe people: For smiling_evil = Petros drabble, Dietrich x Esther fic For trydain = Isaak x Caterina fic, Cat POV For fire_werewolf = Petros x Alessandro fic For shunshou77 = Isaak x Dietrich fluff fic (to be posted) For gamu = Isaak x Dietrich smut fic (to be typed) If I forgot you, let me know.

Everything is under cuts so I don't waste your space. Commenting on the last Death Note manga. Spoilers abounds for both anime and manga. ( Death Note ramblings )I loved the results I got on these.... I don't normally bother with crap like this because it takes up a lot of space and says nothing, but these were funny. ( Making fun of Isaak's and Dietrich's names... )I will hopefully have a fic or two up by tonight. I've just had a busy week and I have a few commissions I've been working on. And being the intelligent one that I am, I don't work on one at a time. And versine, your fic is giving me more trouble than anything I've ever written I believe. XD But in the meantime, ( here are a few things I found amusing )Woooo.

Few things going on.... Ran my book club again tonight and a record breaking number of three girls showed up. Book was Interview with the Vampire. It was quite entertaining really. Two of them were reading it for the first time and the general consensus was "Louis is emo. Lestat's an ass. And Armand is hot." which amused me greatly. I still feel sort of numb after finishing Code Geass. Don't know what I want to watch now... And don't want to have to wait for season two to come out. Bah. It occured to me that season one is called Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. LotR is the SUBTITLE. So season two will be Code Geass: Something Else. Which means Lelouch doesn't have to necessarily be alive in it.....this has me very concerned. I doubt they'd kill him, but you never know with Clamp. They do really fricking stupid things sometimes. I so ordered an Isaak x Dietrich poster from Japan. It's the typical fanservice picture but it makes me happy. New LJ crisis. Evidently they're cracking down on all sorts of things now that pretty much make everything in fandom illegal. So I'm going to be friends-locking a lot more things now. And the beginnings of a fic. A joke. Partly for shunshou77 and partly for my own amusement. Trinity Blood, Hellsing, YuGiOh crossover. If Isaak, Integra, and Pegasus walk into a bar.... Integra POV. PG13 for innuendo and language. Not finished. This is just a bit to see how everyone likes it. ( So Isaak, Integra, and Pegasus walk into a bar... )Also started a Suleyman x Dietrich. Suleyman taking revenge for the death of Radu. Wangst abounds. With any lucky, music will be up tonight or tomorrow afternoon.

In an entirely un-premeditated motion, I started placing a collection of VERY random books together in the case at the foot of my bed. Turns out that most of them hold particular interest to my fanonized Isaak and the big Isaak-fic that will never be published. Fiction, poetry, and non-fiction behind the cut. A basic list so far, 28 books. I will probably end up working on it on and off as I work on the fic, as it is fun/amusing. I can easily explain why MOST of these are relevant, though I admit some of the WxI-related ones are definitely just angsty-murdering-homoerotic-university-b oys. ( The Isaak Fernand von Kampfer Shelf (why Aerin is the biggest loser ever) )Now we can all ignore the fact that I actively research anime characters.

The Geographer's Library by Jon Fasman. Only 80 pages in but at this point I would suggest it to anyone remotely interested in Russian, Baltic, Near Eastern and Middle Eastern history. With a nice dose of angry Russian assassins and Arabic alchemists. Of course, it might degenerate very quickly (the author mentioned an earless and headless body, which has me curious as to just how said body was proven earless if the head was never found, but we can allow a stupid mistake every so often) but it is great fun so far.
Beginning to think Tallinn is the only city in Estonia. Because everything that happens in Estonia seems to happen there (part of this book takes place in Tallinn). I must stop poking fun at Estonia one of these days.
And as a wilderness note, we have a family of grey foxes living under the shed now. We knew something was living under there for a while now, but I caught the mother and two kits outside playing tonight. They come right up on the porch and look in the windows. I'm a little worried that the red-tails might eat the kits, but they're a fair size now and diurnal/nocturnal tendencies should destroy that idea anyway. I don't think greys are endangered anymore, but they're probably still threatened so it would be a pity if they all got eaten. However at this rate with six large predators living in our yard we should be entirely rid of rodents soon. And neighbours' yappy dogs (did I say that?) so that's damn cool. Rodents and I don't mix well.
