This journal is once again partially friends-only. Like just about every other journal. I keep personal life ravings locked, not that anyone really cares. And because of LiveJournal's new rules, I am going to be very picky about which fics I make available to the public. If you want the rest, ask to be friended.

Friend me for extra fics and general ravings. Please leave a comment somewhere if you do, as I like to know who is friending me. You only have to leave ONE comment saying why you're friending me. I get sick of random people friending me and never saying who they are.

And kudos to anyone who understands the relevance of this date. Or the quote.

MY JOURNAL IS FIVE YEARS OLD TODAY. ISN'T THAT EXCITING?

I wish I had something more exciting to post today for it, but I really...don't. Oh, well, I opened my gundam00_rating community last night. Got an explosion of apps, which is to be expected, but now I'm thinking I should have waited until I got all the...stamps....first. This will really be my first active community. I've had two joke ones in the past, each one for a small group in a certain fandom. But this is the first one that's open membership and has a co-mod and everything. I hope everything goes well.


I'm sure most of you have seen this, but..... I still find it hysterical. I don't know why. Madonna cosplaying as Mello from Death Note. And the lyrics remind me of him, too. I bet Mello dances like this.

HALF-ASSED HIATUS!!!!

From now until sometime between May 5th and 9th



Due to my Junior Project coming up, I haven't really had the time to be as stupidly addicted to Livejournal as I usually am. I haven't been keeping up with my F-List (been skimming it only) or comments or anything of the like, so I might as well post an explanation and a hiatus notice. (yay!)

I'll still be around, of course. So if anything dire (or hopelessly stupid) comes up, I shall comment. And I'll be writing periodically over the next few weeks, and still checking the Gundam communities because I NEED MY FANDOM.

But all in all, I won't be in-your-face-raping-your-journal like I usually am for the next month or so. I need to be putting some serious time into this project now that I'm down to the month mark, like 6-8 hours a day. So my usual internetz time is being cut into drastically. Once it's over though, I'll have a week left of school and then summer vacation.

PS - Am currently working on eight different G00 fics. Several for the Kinkmeme. So expect those sometime during hiatus. I said it was half-assed, didn't I?

PSS - HARO HAS A PIKACHU MODE. IT'S FUCKING RIDICULOUS.

I figure I better give a half-assed official statement on this, for anyone who hasn't already figured it out yet.

Gundam 00 is my new major fandom. Yea I'm still involved in Trinity Blood but G00 is definitely dominant in my mind right now. Clearly any series that can make me cry for pretty much 48 hours straight is my current fandom (although G00 has ripped my heart apart more than any fandom ever has).

All aside, I am not abandoning TB. I will still be ficcing for it, just not as heavily. There's actually a couple (Alejandro x Livonze) in G00 that are almost exactly like Isaak and Di, so by writing THEM, I'm actually figuring more out about the IxD relationship, so I will definitely be writing more of that. I actually wrote one last night, but it is epic!lame and I'm too lazy to type it up. Obviously one fandom is going to take precedence over another, and right now that's Gundam. I'm still following and writing TB, but it will be interspersed with G00 fics now too. Because like I said, where I am with TDH right now requires a lot of thought and I can't rush it, so when I have a half an hour to write, I'll write G00 lest I screw up my only fic with any semblance of a plot.

But I figured I'd throw it out there because I know half my F-List reads my journal for the TB fics. And while those fics will still be coming, it won't be as often as before by any means.

And if you're curious about Gundam 00, WATCH IT. I've never really gotten into a Gundam before now. But seriously, even if you can't get into the plot (though I argue it's impossible not to), the men take good care of the fangirls. And the emotional rawness of it. AND HARO.

And Code Geass R2 starts in a couple of weeks, and it has been canonically confirmed that Lelouch and Suzaku are lovers best of friends. So I'll probably have a complete breakdown from trying to live in three fandoms at once.

OFFICIAL: Pika is dead.

Being the brilliant person she is, she misread the due date for one of her term papers. And being the hideous procrastinator she is, a three-day difference is a VERY BIG DEAL.

NO question about it. I am pretty much On Hiatus until December 12th. Yes, it's only a week, but I figured I'd let you all know. I have an absurd amount of things due in this week. AND I'M GOING TO DIE. I have a 100 average in Romanticism? I want to go to grad school for this? If I don't maintain a perfect grade I'm totally screwed? I totally had this amazing idea in mind and now I don't have enough time to research it properly? I HAVE A PRESENTATION TOMORROW when did this happen????? AND WHY IS MY TERM PAPER DUE SO SOON?

If I do manage to get everything in on time without killing myself, I'll be back on for a few days. Then I'll disappear again until December 21st (because finals are the 20th and 21st).
